If you are a Diablo fan then you have probably seen the announcements about the upcoming Diablo 2 resurrected game. You may have also wondered when will it be released. Whether or not it will be free, what features it will have, and what you can expect.
Open beta
You can now sign up for the Diablo 2 Resurrected open beta, launching this weekend. During this time, you will be able to explore the first two acts of the game. In addition, you’ll be able to try out five classes: Sorceress, Necromancer, Barbarian, Druid, and Assassin.
The Diablo II: Resurrected open beta will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PC. Players who pre-order the game can get early access. As with the closed alpha, you’ll have the option of playing in single-player or multiplayer modes.
Unlike the closed alpha, you won’t have to pay to play in the open beta. However, you will have to buy a PlayStation Plus subscription if you want to access multiplayer features at launch.
There will be no level cap in the open beta. This means you can try out all of the five classes, which each have their own unique skills.
In addition, you’ll be able play in PvP. Up to eight players will be able to participate. Despite this, the game’s content won’t be finalized.

Ladder
The ladder in Diablo 2 Resurrected is a major new gameplay innovation that allows players to test themselves against other players. It allows for ranked play, which is not possible in the previous version of the game.

As with the Ladder, the single player mode has its own leaderboard. Some of the other cool gizmos include new mercenaries and a new type of Horadrim cube.

Lord of Destruction remaster
Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction expansion pack have recently been remastered and will soon be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It’s the same story, same classes, and same world as the original, but it will be played in an enhanced 3D physically-based rendering.
The Diablo II and Lord of Destruction remaster will come with new textures, lighting, and animations. There will also be cross-platform progression. However, it will not feature any major balance reworks.
This is a complete remaster of Diablo 2, which means that it will have the same gameplay as the original, but it will have better graphics and higher frame rate support. The game will not include any new areas or enemies, but it will have revamped spell effects and improved animations.
